ok so its been a long while since i last posted any of my recent work, and i ened to get back into the groove of updating my blog asap.

Brad and some of the other Riot riders were invited to ride at the Masters of Dirt show. he hooked me up with a free ticket and a backstage pass which was pretty damn cool of him,thanx dude ; ) the light was bad, and my crappy sigma 70-300 was seriously battling to get enough light through its elements!

1 rig shot

tonight i went to help ty shoot the S5 and the 325i for Cars in Action. out idea was to do a 2 car rig shot. unfortunately we soon learnt that it is near, wait, IS impossible to keep both cars exactly aligned, so we canned the rig shots and moved down into the basement parking for ty to try some other shots. this is 1 of the rig shots that we managed to pull off tho, S5is pretty sharp, and im happy with the work ty and i did on the rig today. we lengthened the central support and made it less bouncy...

MkV GTI "GT" magazine shoot

yesterday i met up with Ishmail to do a shoot fo his mkV gti. he has done a mkV GT front end swap, as well as R32 real valance, and i have to say i think this is my all time favorite local GTI, its really hot and needs to be seen in the flesh. unfortunately the light was not great, we set up abit late in the morning and i was working hard to get the very bright and shallow morning sun to look ok.

if been working on my rig for ages now, and last sudnay i finally finished it. im really happy with the finished product, but as discussed with ty, i think im gonna sue square tubing for the main beam, as the round tubing seems to flex a little much...

Rally Golf Shoot

the day after the mk1 shoot, i shot another car for the mag. this time it was a rally car owned and raced by one of the vw club members, Paul. its a super fun and excting little car, and he had a good time on the shoot.

Vdub Magazine shoot

friday the 3oth i hooked up with the owner fo this mk1 2dr to do a shoot for vdub. i was going for the sort of vibe that the PVW magazine shooters use. i borrowed my buddy ty's strobes and transmitters, and headed over to a local unserground parking garage.

the editor of the mag was abosolutely blown away, and couldnt believe that i got thises results bu using strobes. stroists ftw!!! my shoot made cover of the July issue, im super stoked!
