zwartkops track day

yesterday saw zwartkops open its gates for another 1 of their open track days. i caught a lift with my buddy nick, and we arrived there around 9:30. there was a pretty good turnout by that time, and after a short briefing from the track official, the cars hit the track.

there were a couple of really noteworthy cars there. R950k is alot of cash to drop on a car, and when the owner goes and stips its interior out and puts in a cage you gotta know he means business! M3 CSL...


our buddy Rob from DBN had just completed his mk2 race car, and after the first round of the silvercup racing series which he races in on the saturday, he came along to the track day to put in some track time...


another pretty badass car was this nissan 350Z. running the same kind of crazy front wheel camber that the production race cars do, this thing moved!!!


this TVR T350 had bit of an odd sound, almost like sneezing between gear shifts... ; ) what would you know, it had a huge turbo bolted to its motor!!!


and last but not least, the Noble M400, wow wat a tack beast! i waited quite a few laps to get this shot right, kept cutting either the front or the back of the car off. but after a little perseverance i managed to construct this shot, 1 of my favourites of the day : )
